Our Mission
MoonLoom was born from a simple idea: what if every child could have a storybook where they are the main character — not a generic placeholder, but truly them? We combine AI-powered storytelling with personalised illustration to create one-of-a-kind children's books that families treasure.
How MoonLoom Works
Our AI pipeline takes the details you provide — your child's name, age, interests, and optionally a photo — and generates a completely unique story and set of illustrations. Each book is an 8-page illustrated story created in under 2 minutes, available as a PDF with optional professional audio narration.
Our Technology
MoonLoom uses state-of-the-art generative AI for both story writing and illustration. Every story is written with age-appropriate vocabulary tailored to your child. Every illustration is generated uniquely — no two MoonLoom books look the same. We support 12 languages and 8 distinct illustration styles.
Child Safety & Privacy
Safety is non-negotiable at MoonLoom. Photos uploaded for character personalisation are processed ephemerally — they are used only to generate illustrations and are never stored permanently without explicit consent. We never share children's photos with third parties. All data is encrypted and hosted on EU servers. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

MoonLoom is built by a small team of engineers, designers, and parents based in Kyiv, Ukraine. We started this project because we wanted our own children to experience the magic of seeing themselves in a story — and we wanted to share that magic with families around the world.
